What are BodyWaves?

In seismology, body waves are elastic waves travelling through the interior of the Earth. They are crucial for understanding the Earth’s internal structure and are used in seismic imaging. They provide valuable information about the Earth’s composition and behavior during seismic events such as earthquakes.
